Ollie's Beach Party 2011

The first Grace Research Fund Beach Party was enjoyed by approximately 600 people on a glorious summer afternoon, many of whom were children and families who have been through the Special Care Experience.

Everyone enjoyed a variety of entertainment, including 40 tonnes of sand, bouncy castles, inflatable slides, balloon modelling, face painting, a Fire Engine and many side stalls.  The event culminated in a balloon launch, the furthest of which travelled 115 miles.

The day raised £1000, which will go towards supporting research into helping premature babies and their families.

The Committee would like to thank everyone who helped on the day and the following people for their generous support – Bartletts, Wilfirs, Kwikskip, St John Ambulance, Kangaroo Bouncers, and an anonymous benefactor for his donation of a surfboard for free!!
